PVF Logo Lab

Eighteen ways to make three letters move.

Geometric, condensed, modular, outlined, and expressive studies built around one requirement: the initials must still read as PVF.

Prime

Compressed proportions with a strong shared rhythm.

Forward Cut

Diagonal terminals suggest motion without obscuring the initials.

Open Grid

Expanded spacing gives the mark a calm platform voice.

PVF

Pixel Block

Hard-edged modules reduce cleanly into interface tiles.

Velocity

A slanted silhouette creates a fast launch-page signature.

Wireframe

Layered strokes reveal the mark's geometric construction.

Narrowcast

Tall, close-set forms make efficient use of vertical space.

PVF

Ligature

Overlaps turn three letters into one continuous unit.

Quadrant

A four-cell container organizes the mark as a system icon.

PVF

Ribbon

Soft joins and sweeping direction add a more human tone.

Echo

Offset repetitions create depth while preserving the core reading.

Code Rail

Brackets and a baseline cue connect the identity to developer tools.

Counterform

Negative space carries the central V through the surrounding letters.

Micro Mark

A simplified PVF unit designed for favicon-scale recognition.

A color-separated version for social cards and launch graphics.

Construction rules

Variation without visual drift.

Every study changes one major variable while holding the reading order and core proportions in view. The result is a controlled field of possibilities, not a pile of unrelated logos.

01

Preserve letter cues

The P keeps a readable bowl, the V keeps a decisive convergence, and the F retains enough horizontal structure to remain distinct.

02

Repeat geometry

Angles, cuts, stem widths, counters, and spacing units recur across the mark so the letters behave as one designed object.

03

Test reduction

Fine details are simplified before they collapse. Compact and micro variants protect recognition at interface and favicon sizes.

04

Separate modes

Monochrome forms carry the identity; expressive color and motion remain optional layers for launch and social contexts.

Beyond the mark

A logo needs a surrounding voice.

The letterform studies become useful when they connect to headings, interface labels, code samples, color tokens, and consistent spacing. The PVF type system turns those decisions into reusable roles.
